PTO MEETING - Our PTO met this morning, Tuesday, November 9th at 8:15 am in the cafeteria lobby. Thank you to those that attended!

NO SCHOOL – We will not have school on Thursday, November 11th due to the Veterans’ Day Holiday.

8th Grade Baby Yearbook Pictures - 8th grade students, please bring a baby picture for the baby montage in this year's yearbook. Please put your picture in an envelope with your first and last name on it. You will NOT get this picture back!
The picture should be small which means that your head should be no
larger than a quarter. Please turn in your picture to Mrs. Washalefsky by November 24.

Glee Club – The Glee Club will meet every Wednesday afternoon from 3:00 to 4:00 in the school cafeteria.

Girls Open Gym – There will be a girls OPEN GYM on Wednesday, November 10th from 3:00 to 4:30 pm. Please make sure your rides are here promptly @ 4:30.
There will also be two more OPEN GYMS for girls next Tuesday, November 16th and Thursday, November 18th. Make plans to attend! Coach Schopfel

Boys Open Gym - The next open gym for 7th and 8th grade boys interested in playing basketball will be Tuesday, November 9 from 3:15 - 5:00 pm. Please make sure your ride is here promptly at 5:00 pm to pick you up.

Cheerleader – *On Saturday, February 12th the cheerleaders will host a Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser at Applebees. We would love for you to make plans to attend. In the meantime, we are looking for two people, students and /or staff to take the pancake challenge of who can eat the most pancakes. The winner receives a gift card for a free meal from Applebees. If interested, see Dega Lancaster this week.

Volleyball –The Lady Minutemen Volleyball Team will travel to BCMS today, Tuesday, November 9th for our next game.
Tomorrow, Wednesday, November 10th our team will travel Down East to play volleyball.

Boys Soccer – Our boys soccer team will have another HOME game on Wednesday, November 10th right here at MCMS against Newport Middle.

Meal Payment Program - The Board of Education approved the LunchPrepay.com program in early September and it is now up and running.
Information can be found on the school system's website - just look on the right side in the Headline section.

General Mills Box Tops Fundraiser – Attention Parents...You can make a difference! Collect Box Tops from participating General Mills and affiliates products and earn cash for MCMS!!! Just clip the marked Box Top labels and send them in to MCMS with your student. Each top is worth 10 cents and it adds up fast!!! Also, please ask family and friends collect the tops, earning extra money for school needs will be so easy!

Lowe's Food Cards – Lowe’s Food Cards are now available once again to purchase in our school office for $50.00 each. This is a great way to help MCMS raise money. We all have to eat, right! Why not purchase a card or two and our school will receive $10.00 back on each card sold. Come by the school office and get yours now. .
