Happy Friday!
MCMS will have a prosperous 2010-2011 School Year.
Make A Difference Campus Clean Up/Join Us – Saturday, October 23rd from 9:00 -11:30 am.
*Make A Difference Day will be Saturday, October 23, 2010. This is a program endorsed by our Governor and has become the nation’s largest day of volunteering in many ways.
In North Carolina, our Governor wants Make A Difference Day to focus on schools, and on the state level has partnered with the NC Commission on Volunteerism and Community Service, AmeriCorps programs and members, nonprofits, faith-based organizations, National Service programs and the business community.
*MCMS will participate in this initiative with a campus clean up morning from 9-11:30. Together, students, staff, and parents will clean up our school grounds. Activities will include raking, trimming, weeding, power washing and painting and other projects.
*We encourage all staff members and families to participate and Make A Difference at MCMS! Please bring your own garden gloves, tools, rakes, etc. Our school has one power washer and we could use a few more. Please let Dr. Kreuser know if you plan to bring your own to use so that we can make arrangements ahead of time with hoses and water connections.
Meal Payment Program - The Board of Education approved the LunchPrepay.com program in early September and it is now up and running.
Information can be found on the school system's website - just look on the right side in the Headline section.
