Athletic Booster Meeting – Please join us tonight, Monday, October 25th for our Athletic Booster Meeting at 6:00 pm in the cafeteria lobby. We look forward to seeing you!

Sports Eligibility - Friday, October 29th is sports eligibility day. On Friday teachers will review student grades to see if those of you that wish to participate in sports are eligible by meeting the requirements.

Costume Contest - On Friday Oct. 29th we welcome you all to dress up in your greatest Halloween costume! Please note that costumes must be appropriate for school.
Halloween Costume Guidelines:
1. Students must be dressed and ready prior to coming to school.
2. If face painting is part of your costume, it must be completed at home and may not create a mess within our school.
3. NO masks will be allowed.
4. No costumes relating to violence of any sort will be allowed.
Let’s have fun with this event. Prizes will be awarded at the end of the day in two categories.
a. General Halloween theme
b. Summer read themes –“Stormbreaker” or I’d Tell you I Love You, But I’d have to Kill You”
If in doubt about what are wearing, please talk with your homeroom teacher or an administrator.
Our PTO will also be handing out sweet treats to start off a safe and fun Halloween weekend.

Volleyball – The volleyball team will travel to Beaufort Middle School on Tuesday, October 26th. MCMS will challenge Beaufort Middle School and Broad Creek Middle School @ 4:00 pm.

Golf – The boys’ golf team will practice today, Monday. Tomorrow, Tuesday, October 26th is the conference championship match. The match begins at 1:45. Teachers please dismiss golf team at 1:00 pm.

Boys Soccer – Our 1st boys’ soccer game will be on Thursday, October 28th at Newport Middle School.
Please note that the boys’ soccer game that was schedule on Monday, November 1st has now been changed to Thursday, November 4th. Soccer games begin at 3:30 pm.

Meal Payment Program - The Board of Education approved the LunchPrepay.com program in early September and it is now up and running.
Information can be found on the school system's website - just look on the right side in the Headline section.

General Mills Box Tops Fundraiser – Attention Parents...You can make a difference! Collect Box Tops from participating General Mills and affiliates products and earn cash for MCMS!!! Just clip the marked Box Top labels and send them in to MCMS with your student. Each top is worth 10 cents and it adds up fast!!! Also, please ask family and friends collect the tops, earning extra money for school needs will be so easy!
